www.uvote4.com achieves “Review Site Status”.

The site gives the public a say on what they think about a local businesses, products or services. James Hunter the founder of Uvote4 is quoted as saying

“The site now offers feedback from the web user to place a comment, whether they’ve had a good or poor experience. It`s an excellent way to promote and market their business through recommendations they`ve received, especially if the reviews are good. Businesses or the general public can link back their reviews to their own business or personal profile whilst advertising at the same time. Businesses, websites, blogs, even facebook profiles can be recommended and uploaded onto the site for review”

This week brought uvote4.com a step closer to forging a business partnership with the “Around Rugby Magazine”. If the partnership is agreed this would create a strong market platform for local business to advertise in a popular community based publication and online with www.rugbylive.co.uk. The Editor and Publicist “Natalie Michael"has taken the proposal under serious consideration.

An article was published in The Rugby Advertiser on the 23rd October 2008 by Sandra Ellery, Director and Organiser of Face of the Future entitled Learning Curve
In response to your reader`s letter last week regarding the Face of the Future, I would like to add that each year, as the competition grows, we do take on board all suggestions put forward. We did not envisage the competition to increase to the level it did this year, and apologise to all parents for keeping the younger categories so late. We had already made the decision to start earlier next year, so the little ones can be tucked up in bed at the appropriate time. We had also decided to offer a further opportunity for the contestants to be able to parade a second time on the catwalk, especially as the younger ones looked so absolutely adorable and parents had probably gone to the expense of purchasing new outfits for them specifically for the contest. We also intent to run the competition over a longer period, and advertise an official commencement date, so that all contestants have an equal chance or receiving votes on the uvote4.com site which work fantastically well and was a great success, so watch this site.
Certificates of achievement have been prepared for all contestants, some of which have already been posted out, or they may be collected from the Rugby Advertiser office. I would also like to take this opportunity of thanking everyone who helped to make the event such a huge success, as time was pressing on and I missed the chance on the night. So, to the presenters from Rugby Fm Radio- Jason and Louisa, The Clock Towers, Gems Photography, Essensuals Toni & Guy, Thomas Cleaver jewellers, Eliza Doolittle, The Rugby Advertiser and of course James from www.uvote4.com thank you all very much. Special thanks to Miss England, Laura Coleman, for assisting on the judging panel, and wish you good luck for the Miss World contest in November. Thank you also to the parents who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and to Mike, my partner who supported me throughout and of course Jaide’s Stage Studios for providing the entertainment. The raffle and programme sales managed to raise almost £300 for Jaide’s Charity which provides free places for dance drama and singing classes to less fortunate children. Finally, Mike and I would like to express our personal congratulations to all the contestants, semi finalists, the category winners and to Joseph Head as the Face of the Future 2008, whose prizes totalled almost £1000. Very well done!
